The neglect and misuse of your tax dollars have created a system of sidewalks which have not only become a blight on the City of Los Angeles but have created an environment which is dangerous for young and old alike.
Public Safety is my priority and that will include a City Wide Side Walk Repair Emergency Task Force to eliminate this disgrace before the end of my term in office.
Commissioners will be appointed based on their ability to evaluate and engage in creating a system of safe sidewalks.

Failing to accept responsibality for the years of neglect on the part of the city will not be ignored. The damage caused to sidewalks as a direct result of errors on the part of the city will not be placed on the backs of the srtuggling homeowner. If you break it, you fix it!
